Meet The Founder
Founder & Principal Advisor
Jai Raj Kataria is an education leader and advisor with over two decades of experience across higher
education, international education, educational technology, institutional partnerships and business
strategy.
Over the course of his career, he has held leadership roles with organisations including Educomp,
Pearson VUE and Hobsons, working across India, the Middle East and international markets. His
experience has brought him into close engagement with universities, schools, government and
education bodies, corporate organisations and emerging education ventures.
Having worked across different parts of the education ecosystem, Jai brings a perspective that goes
beyond any one segment of the sector. His work has ranged from international student mobility and
higher education to technology-led education, institutional engagement, market development and
strategic partnerships.
This cross-sector experience also shaped his vision for Parth Edvisors.
As Founder & Principal Advisor, Jai works at the intersection of academic pathways, institutional
partnerships, EdTech consulting and professional development, helping individuals and organisations
navigate opportunities and make informed decisions in an increasingly interconnected education
landscape.
He believes that the most meaningful outcomes in education are created when the right people,
institutions, ideas and opportunities come together.
That belief sits at the heart of Parth Edvisors and its larger purpose: connecting students,
professionals, institutions and education innovators across the global education ecosystem.
Advisory Board Member
Bhawna Kataria is a development sector leader with over 19 years of experience building and managing
strategic partnerships across government, academia, industry, and international organizations, with
a deep focus on education, skilling, and livelihoods. Her career spans senior roles at some of
India's most influential institutions, including Ernst & Young, where she led a cross-functional
team supporting the Ministry of Labour and Employment during India's G20 presidency, working
directly with the Employment Working Group and international bodies such as the ILO, OECD, and World
Bank.
Bhawna has held leadership positions at Tata STRIVE (Tata Community Initiatives Trust), the
Confederation of Indian Industry, Fairtrade India, and the Electronics Sector Skills Council of
India, where she designed and scaled skilling programmes reaching thousands of youth and women
across the country. Her work has consistently bridged the gap between government ministries,
corporates, multilateral agencies, and academic institutions, mobilising funding and forging
partnerships that translate policy into on-ground impact.
She brings a rare combination of strategic advisory capability and hands-on programme execution,
having raised significant CSR and institutional funding, led teams of up to 45 members, and driven
collaborations with organizations such as HCL, Aditya Birla Group, Samsung, and NSDC.
Bhawna holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute
of Management and Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree from Rohilkhand University. Her deep
understanding of India's education ecosystem and government systems makes her a valuable voice in
shaping global education partnerships and policy.
His vision for Parth Edvisors is to build an organisation recognised not merely for connecting students with opportunities, but for strengthening the broader education ecosystem through strategic advisory, institutional collaboration and thought leadership.

Advisory Board Member
Dr. Abhishek Sharma is an academic, researcher and industry professional with over two decades of experience spanning management education, academic leadership, research, marketing and business development.
A PhD in Management and an MBA in Marketing & HR from MJP Rohilkhand University, Dr. Sharma has held academic and leadership responsibilities including Dean – Research, Head of Department, Associate Professor, Academic Coordinator and Placement Coordinator. His institutional experience includes Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management and Technology, Shri Siddhi Vinayak Group of Institutions, Future Institute of Management & Technology, Lotus Institute of Management & Technology and Rakshpal Bahadur Management Institute. Across these roles, he has contributed to curriculum and syllabus development, research initiatives, student development, academic administration and industry–academia engagement.
His research and academic work spans marketing, retail, leadership and management. He has published and presented papers at academic forums and has served in editorial roles for journals including Marketing Zephyr, Future Business Review and Candour: A Management Journal. His corporate experience with organisations including Vishal Retail and IndiaMART InterMESH further adds a practitioner perspective to his understanding of management education and the evolving needs of industry.
Dr. Sharma has also been involved in guiding and supporting higher education institutions in their internationalisation efforts, including the development of international academic linkages and initiatives related to student mobility. This experience complements his broader interest in strengthening connections between institutions, industry and emerging global opportunities.
Beyond his academic and professional career, Dr. Sharma was part of the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, and completed six months of Basic Combat Training there. A sportsperson at heart, he has represented state and regional teams in basketball and Tae-Kwon-Do – experiences that reflect a long-standing orientation towards discipline, leadership and teamwork.
As a member of the Parth Edvisors Advisory Board, Dr. Sharma brings an academic, industry and international engagement perspective to our work across higher education, institutional partnerships and professional development, supporting PE’s vision of creating meaningful connections across the global education ecosystem.
Advisory Board Member
Dr. Swatantra Kumar is an academic, entrepreneur and institutional leader whose career spans higher education, management, entrepreneurship, incubation and industry engagement.
With qualifications in Law, Economics and Management, including an MBA, UGC-NET in Management and a PhD in Management, Dr. Kumar has held academic and leadership positions across several higher education institutions. His experience includes MJP Rohilkhand University, RBMI Bareilly, KCMT Bareilly, Future Institute of Management Sciences and SSVIM, as well as serving as a Visiting Professor at Thapar University, Patiala. He is also a Research Guide at IFTM University, Moradabad.
Since 2013, Dr. Kumar has pursued entrepreneurship alongside his continued engagement with academia and institutions. He is the founder of ventures including Realmax Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., People for People and Realmax Infra Heights. His involvement with entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems includes serving as Honorary Director at the Rohilkhand Incubation Foundation at MJP Rohilkhand University and participating in startup and incubation centres across educational institutions.
Dr. Kumar has also contributed to the wider industry and professional ecosystem through roles including Vice President of RMA, the local chapter of the All India Management Association (AIMA), and Joint Secretary of the UP Chamber of Commerce, Bareilly chapter. His research engagement includes an AICTE-CII-UNDP project on Corporate Social Responsibility, while his participation as a panelist on business, economic and geopolitical affairs brings a wider perspective on the forces shaping institutions, industry and society.
In addition, Dr. Kumar has been involved in guiding institutions on internationalisation, including the development of linkages with international colleges and initiatives supporting student mobility. This experience strengthens the intersection of institutional strategy, entrepreneurship and global engagement that he brings to the Board.
As a member of the Parth Edvisors Advisory Board, Dr. Kumar contributes a valuable combination of academic leadership, entrepreneurship, institutional engagement and international outlook, supporting PE’s vision of helping education institutions build purposeful partnerships and respond to a rapidly evolving global education environment.
